A young woman using a pottery wheel to shape a clay bowl in a pottery studio, with her hands covered in clay.

Princess’s journey into ceramics began in 2019, following a pivotal decision to pursue a life of creative freedom. Under the mentorship of master potter Chris Bramble, she developed her technical expertise, exploring form and identity while drawing influence from artists whose work embodies craftsmanship. Clay became a medium through which to reconnect with her heritage, where skill, tradition, and artistry rose above struggle and pain.

Her approach is deeply reflective, merging discipline with artistic expression. Her vessels carry whispers of history, resilience, and personal exploration, each piece embodying the stories that shape her craft.

Alongside creating bespoke ceramic pieces, Princess teaches workshops and courses in London and across the UK, sharing her passion for clay through hands-on engagement. She also welcomes commissions and private projects, inviting collaboration through her deeply considered practice.

In 2023, Princess appeared as a contestant on The Great Pottery Throwdown, an experience that both challenged and deepened her love for the craft. With over five years of studio experience, she returned to the show in 2024, as its new kiln technician.
